Marianne, 17, has started her journey and will cycle 900 kilometers and 11,000 meters of ascent through the Northern and Southern Alps, from Lindau to Monaco, to raise funds for the Trampled Rose program which provides schooling for 130 vulnerable girls in the Ankober region of Ethiopia.
Marianne will attempt this transalpine ride through seven countries in just eight days, without a support vehicle, with all her luggage on her bike and only two teammates.
